LANVIN Spring 2004 RTW

This collection calls more attention to the aesthetic decisions made about color. Scarlet, pink, yellow, cerulean, royal blue, emerald, etc. These bright and sharp colour with lustrous effect on satin fabric form a glamourous colourful painting of LANVIN.

This collection is a foreshadowing of Elbaz's colourful design in Spring 2008 and 2009 RTW.

LANVIN Spring 2003 RTW

This collection has a special meaning for Alber Elbaz because it proved that he knows womens' need.

The chiffon dress with gauze and crystal of LANVIN Spring 2003 become a typical and classic design of Elbaz. Most of the actress got one for red carpet!

There are Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Gold, Silver...... besides black, grey, white, beige and brown, more colour is used in Spring collection.

P.S. I LOVE THE BLACK WITH GREY PURPLE.

LANVIN Fall 2002 RTW

With his first collection for Lanvin, Alber Elbaz successfully walked the finest of lines between design panache and desirable, grown-up clothing.

From the neutral colour (blank, grey, white) to the earth colour (brown, green, khaki, beige),with some suprising oranga, red and magenta. Albar Elbaz using the Analogons Colour Combination and Achromatic Scheme to make his first collection be safe.

The material, however, play and important role in the collection. Dark colour fabric with silver sequin, chiffon with see-through effect, parti-coloured fur, etc. I see one thing that I never concern about: Selection of materials may affect the apperance of colours.

Funny Elbaz !!!

Why I choose LANVIN in this project?
Because Alber Elbaz is my favorable designer.
I just want to update my blog everyday with the things that I like.
So I will enjoy this stuff!

Class Exercise & Miss LANVIN dolls

Alber Elbaz delighted and surprised us when he adorned the Lanvin Faubourg Saint-Honoré store window with miniature mannequins last year and then took it a step further to create six Miss Lanvin porcelain hand painted dolls with Taiwanese ceramics company Franz. It was a hark back to Jeanne Lanvin’s partaking in the post-war Theâtre de la Mode show which saw French couturiers showcasing their designs through miniature dolls, due to the lack of fabric. The second series of dolls from Lanvin have just been released and feature seven silhouettes from the S/S 08 Lanvin collection as well as the bridal capsule collection. Packaged in Lanvin’s signature pale blue boxe, again they will only be produced in a limited edition of 800.
